Gwen Stefani Shares Hottest Baby Bump Selfie We've Ever Seen

Whoa -- holy hot mama-to-be! Check out Gwen Stefani's stunning baby bump selfie, which she posted to Twitter yesterday. Um ... is she absolutely gorgeous or what? She's what pretty much every expectant mom dreams of being -- the hot pregnant chick.

Oh come on, admit it. When you found out you had a bun in the oven, you vowed to be a sexy preggo too. (We all did.)

I cannot get over how amazing Gwen looks, and one thing's for sure. She's all baby. It looks as though she hasn't put on an ounce of weight anywhere other than her belly, so she's obviously doing a great job of keeping herself in shape.

Ok, enough with the suspense. Here's the full shot:

And if you're thinking this pic looks kind of familiar, you aren't mistaken. Kristin Cavallari posted a baby bump selfie dressed in workout gear a couple days ago, and Gwen's photo is pretty darn similar. (Except for the heels, of course. And more power to her for being able to stand up straight in those things!)

I guess it's not all that big of a shocker to see a celebrity mom looking more beautiful than ever even with a big old baby bump, but let me once again point out that this is Gwen's third child -- and she's 44 years old. Um, I don't know about you, but I can only hope to look as awesome at 44 not pregnant as Gwen does with a baby on the way.

If I were her, I'd keep posting selfies right up until my due date. Who wouldn't want to flaunt it a little bit in her case?

Whats REALLY inside your childs Nasal Aspirator???

So, in following some mom and parenting groups on Facebook, I come across different articles and all kinds of things. A lot of times I just skim over them, or think "hmm, thats interesting" but this one was too scary not to share.

So you have a new baby and you're looking through all the goods the hospital sent you home with. Typically, you'll probably have one of these:

Just a traditional, hospital, standard issue aspirator right?? 

no.

and I really mean it. NO.

The Stir posted an article this time LAST YEAR that seems to be going viral lately.  In the original photos sent in by a Kentucky mom, she shows us whats REALLY in those things, and boogers really isn't the worst of it!

I nearly passed out when I saw this! I was outraged! Flabbergasted! Ok, enough, but really! How could the hospital give me a tool that instead of helping my baby get better, could be making him more sick!! I hoped to the high heavens that the Kentucky mom's just wasn't cleaned properly. But no, she said she'd washed the bulb with hot and soapy water after every use. And it wasn't just her....

Facebook mom Chelsea Myers tried it for herself and posted the above picture (which was the first I saw of the topic) and later posted a link to the original article. 

Now im not saying that EVERY aspirator is going to look like this inside. But there seems to be a good chance that it will.  What you think is helping keep it clean (washing in warm water) is really contributing to something much worse! I'm convinced that if I go home and open my sons, there will be all kinds of yuck and nast.  I don't think I have the stomach for it honestly, so I'm just going to pitch it when I get home this evening. 

On the up side, we had been gifted another bulb as a part of one of those all inclusive grooming kits and that one opens up for easy cleaning. We used this one more often anyway because the syringe was shorter (and I was terrified of poking baby's brains with the hospital one), but I digress :)

So what do you guys think? Were you as grossed out as I was? I'm going to tell all my expecting friends, friends with babies, heck, even those without! Maybe if we stop using them, they'll update the design in the future.

Beautiful Baby Bumps at the Golden Globes!

With the new year, the awards shows have already started up.  Everyone loves to talk who was wearing what and how glamorous everything is but this year lets spotlight some expectant moms on the Red Carpet!!

The Golden Globes were this past Saturday at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in CA and although most everyone came in their best, these Celeb moms looked STUNNING!

First, Drew Barrymore.

Her Monique Lhuillier gown just adds to her pregnancy glow with pink and red flower petals. This will, after all, be her second daughter! 

She just looks adorable! Later that night Drew posted this picture on her Instagram account after the Globes.

Next up is everyone's favorite "White House fixer" Kerry Washington.  Its rumored that the third season of  the ABC series 'Scandal' was cut short due to Kerry's pregnancy.  

And as many of us Scandal-fanatics expected, Kerry looked fantastic at the Globes. Although there were already rumors in the air that she was expecting, it was made official when she showed up in this Balenciaga gown. 

This will be Kerry's first child. She married Nnamdi Asomugha, recently retired corner back for the SF 49ers, in June. 

And last but not least, the ever hot Olivia Wilde.

Olivia wore a gorgeous green fitted Gucci gown and looks great in it! Wilde revealed at the Globes that she and hilarious husband Jason Sudeikis are expecting a boy, due May 4, 2014.
